The Central Oregon Stampede is a full contact Semi-Pro football team going into their
fifth year of play, with the Oregon Football League ( OFL ). The Stampede is made up of local players
from all over Central Oregon.
The goal of the Stampede is to provide local athletes with the opportunity to
showcase their current talents as well as increase their knowledge and skills, and perhaps assist them to compete at a higher
level, be that in their current status, college or professionally.
The players in the league are not compensated, in fact they are required to contribute personal funds to participate.
Therefore enabling them to retain their collegiate eligibility.
The team and league are non-profit organizations as well as the long tradition of Minor League football in
the Pacific Northwest. Due to this status the Stampede survive with the help of local support through sponsorship and volunteering.
The Stampede then gives back to the community through supplying a great source of family entertainment as well as field usage
and officials fees, equipment needs and donating a portion of the proceeds made to the KIDS Center of Central Oregon.
The Stampede and the League are enthusiastic about future growth of Minor League football in Oregon, in fact
a current addition of another new team has expanded the League to nine teams. We welcome the Siskiyou Savages ( Brookings
)to the OFL family.
